台北電影節自創立以來，致力於推動台灣電影產業的發展與國際化。不僅為本土電影創作者提供了一個展示才華的平台，也為觀眾帶來了豐富多樣的電影作品，拓展了電影藝術的視野。迎接第25屆之際，年度主視覺以「破蛹展翅」為核心概念，透過柔和曖昧的藍紫色與半透明的氛圍，隱約流線浮出數字25，呼應電影創作過程充滿未知、隱約與不確定性的美學，以及25年以來的蛻變。
Since its inception, the Taipei Film Festival has been dedicated to promoting the development and internationalization of Taiwan's film industry. It not only provides a platform for local filmmakers to showcase their talents but also brings a rich variety of film works to audiences, expanding the horizons of cinematic art. As it welcomes its 25th edition, the annual event key visual adopts the core concept of "breaking out of the cocoon ." Through soft, ambiguous blue-purple hues and a semi-transparent atmosphere, the number 25 emerges in subtle flowing lines. This echoes the aesthetics of the filmmaking process, which is full of unknowns, vagueness, and uncertainty, as well as the transformation over the past 25 years.
〖 綻放隱約未知的電影之美 〗
一部電影作品直到放映的那一瞬間之前，故事的成功與美麗方能完成。我們透過視覺呈現創作者與作品在「破蛹」之前的不確定性，以及破蛹之後故事在放映時的綻放時刻。
主視覺設計以柔和曖昧的藍紫色與半透明的氛圍，呼應著電影創作過程中充滿未知、隱約與不確定性的美學。結構上則以半透明、輕柔的羽片相互交疊，透過曲線和光線的變化構成羽翼舒展的動態意象，不僅輪廓構成數字25的外型，也透過光線的穿透隱諱地呈現數字25的線條。在這25歲之際，北影識別標誌的這一隻蝴蝶，在主視覺的表現下，在台北電影節這個蝶蛹之中，茁壯、進而破蛹而出，回顧了誕生的突破剎那，也見證了每一個年輕、獨立、別於主流的電影人，伴隨著電影節飛向遠方的願景。
"Blooming the Subtle, Unknown Beauty of Film"
The success and beauty of a film's story can only be fully realized at the moment of its screening. Through key visual design, we present the uncertainty of creators and their works before "breaking out of the cocoon," and the moment of blooming when the story is screened after emerging from the cocoon.
The key visual design uses soft, ambiguous blue-purple hues and a semi-transparent atmosphere, echoing the aesthetics of the filmmaking process, which is full of unknowns, vagueness, and uncertainty. Structurally, semi-transparent, gentle feathers overlap, creating a dynamic image of spreading wings through changes in curves and light. This not only forms the outline of the number 25 but also subtly presents the lines of the number 25 through the penetration of light. At this 25th anniversary, the butterfly in the Taipei Film Festival's logo, under the expression of the key visual, grows strong within the chrysalis of the festival, breaks out, and emerges. It looks back on the breakthrough moment of its birth and witnesses every young, independent filmmaker who diverges from the mainstream, accompanying the festival's vision of flying towards the future.

動態主視覺延續整體調性，將台北電影節的品牌特質與角色融入，以象徵電影獨特的時間、影格的半透明羽片，從蝶蛹緩慢呼吸、逐漸生長為蛹，隨後破裂，蝶翼自信灑落並開展，數字25也在過程之中，逐漸明亮並更為清晰。
我們從平面設計思維上著手，進一步以動態主視覺呈現設計概念的流動過程，賦予視覺更多有機的生命感。從主視覺的靜謐，到動態主視覺的優雅舞動，環繞著破蛹的設計概念，回應著電影節的本質初衷，憑藉想像突破瞬間的前後關係，展現了25年來每一位曾在北影開啟電影人的生涯的創作者，也突顯台北電影節品牌持續蛻變進化的品牌精神。

The key visual motion continues the overall tone, incorporating the brand characteristics and role of the Taipei Film Festival. Using semi-transparent feathers symbolizing the unique time and frames of film, it slowly breathes from the chrysalis, gradually growing into a pupa, then breaking open. The butterfly wings confidently scatter and spread, while the number 25 gradually brightens and becomes clearer throughout the process.
We approach this from a graphic design perspective, further presenting the flowing process of the design concept through dynamic main visuals, giving the visuals more organic vitality. From the serenity of the static main visual to the elegant dance of the dynamic visual, surrounding the concept of breaking out of the cocoon, it responds to the original intention of the film festival. By imagining the relationship before and after the moment of breakthrough, it showcases every creator who has started their filmmaking career at the Taipei Film Festival over the past 25 years, also highlighting the brand spirit of the Taipei Film Festival's continuous transformation and evolution.
